all that you see that you wanted
I watched The Next Three Days three days ago, and I’ve been listening to the soundtrack ever since. It is awesome. It’s Danny Elfman, but I had no idea it was Elfman, and I can always call Elfman. That’s not to say anything bad about him, but there was just something extra fantastic about this score. Especially the songs by Moby. Phenomenal. It really elevated the film to a whole new level.
I do like Moby, though. I always feel weird saying that. But “Porcelain” and “Natural Blues” are amazing songs, and I stand by that.
I’m writing a blog, but I don’t really have a lot to say. It’s just been awhile since I updated.
My cat got fixed last week, so I’m obsessing over her incicion to make sure she’ll live. She doesn’t seem to care at all that she had an organ removed, but she does get incredibly irritated when I don’t give her my undivided attention. And I’m not giving it to her now, so she’s meowing at me. So I should go. Apparently.
I watched The Next Three Days, a couple of days ago as well. It’s pretty good, and the you’re right about the soundtrack.
That is so awesome! Congrats. Putting ur books on the list.
I love Moby and secretly wish that he comes in to the cafe every time I go to Teanie.
True story: My mother is a medical professional, she worked with a doctor who had two sons. These two sons were also doctors. In fact they were surgeons. They were sharing a house while they were junior surgeons – and they had a cat.
Deciding they needed to get the cat fixed, and being arrogant young surgeons they decided that they could spay their cat themselves. After all, they’re surgeons right? How hard can it be to desex a female cat?
They sedate the cat and perform the surgery on her, removing the necessary girl parts. They then wait anxiously for her to recover from the anaesthetic (which she does) and they then watch her closely for a couple of weeks until she seems fully recovered.
Six months later she gave birth to a healthy litter of kittens.
The two young surgeons were too embarrassed to ever get their cat fixed and she lived a long and healthy life. They never worked out exactly what they removed, but the cat seemed fine without it.
get well soon cat. cool blog – cheers
No,Whats bad luck is to say there are no such thing as vampires,I think Brian is one and he’s just trying to through us off!! LOL We have 2 male cats and they made it just fine through their “change” 🙂
Don’t you know it’s bad luck to ignore a cat? Go snuggle her already! I hope she’s better soon so you can stop worrying about her.
The Next Three Days blew my mind. And yeah, I was surprised to see Danny Elfman’s name on the score. It didn’t “sound” like him. Great movie, though!
Th kitty will be fine- just be careful how you pick her up over the next few weeks. Don’t be surprised if the hair doesn’t grow back right away- sometimes it takes a while.
Just finished Hollowland…totally awesome book:D
I do hope it is a series as it said Hollows # 1.
