On the internet, I found a list of the 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. It was a very long list. I went through it, but I hadn’t seen that many movies before 1950, and it had several movies I suspect were fake.

So then I found the list 101 Movies You Must See Before You Die, and I’ve seen 93 of them. What does that prove? That I watch a lot of movies.

  • Wait – “The Birdcage” didn’t make that list? No way. It’s got to be one of the best films ever. (I’ve seen a bunch of them too!)

  • I’ve probably seen a similar number off that list. I’d highly recommend seeing Jean de Florette (and the sequel Manon de Sources), Amelie and Cinema Paradiso. I’m amazed that there are so few older films on that list though.

  • I love movies too. And, I’ve seen almost all of these. But then, I’m a lot older than you. 😉
