With the release of the final book in the My Blood Approves series coming up in just under three weeks, I thought it would be fun to share my ideas for the dream cast for Swear. As you can see in the image below, the top row includes Hailee Steinfield as Alice, Liam Hemsworth as Jack, and Nick Robinson as Peter (although I think he’d have to wear contacts or have the color digitally enhanced to a more brilliant green). Just to be clear, at the moment there are no plans for a movie or TV adaptation for the My Blood Approves series, and I don’t know that there ever will be. As much as I would love to see any of my books onscreen, I think the movie and TV studios have grown weary of vampires for awhile.

If you would like to see a film of any my books, and you’re wondering what you can do to help that happen, the only thing that you as a reader can do is buy my books and talk about my books. Tell all your friends about them. Tweet/Instagram/Facebook about your favorite books. The more popular the books are, the more likely the possibility of someone buying the rights for a movie in the future. And this applies to all books – not just my own. If you love a book, the best thing you can do for it is talk about it and leave reviews on Goodreads and Amazon.
