The world is filled with random, cruel acts of violence and death. Our time here is so short and often, so painful. So, to counteract this even the slightest bit, please be nice to someone today. Do something kind simply because you can.

This message will be especially crucial during a zombie outbreak. If we are to rebuild together anyway…
🙂
This is a sentiment worthy of every day. Thanks, Amanda.
Jesus said “As I have Loved you, You must Love one another”
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if each person did the right thing, and treated people the way they wanted to be treated.
I remember my parents telling me that forever ago, and I just do it, it’s just me and that’s how I am. I think it is important to do the right thing, not because it makes me feel good, but because my actions effect another, and so on and so on.
We are all faced with personal challenges on a daily basis, but if each one of us could remember to think about all of the other people, and what they may be going through, and do something good for someone else.
We should all strive to make every day of our lives a succession of good deeds done for those around us.
Thanks for the post, and the ideas you have put into our heads 🙂
I’ve got that feeling of dealing with a double-edged sword when it comes to this topic. On one hand, I applaud the encouragement to be nice to others. You’re right. This world isn’t the nicest place sometimes. On the flip-side, I can’t help brooding on the fact that this sort of encouragement is needed. We’re all in this together – no matter how much some of us insist otherwise. Why can’t doing a kind gesture be the norm instead of the exception?
Thank you for posting this. Just maybe we can encourage this more and more, one day at a time.
A very sweet gesture! I’ve done a good deed today, but I shall see if I can do another on the way home.
And then we need to persuade everybody to do this ALL the time. Heh…would be nice, wouldn’t it?
If only it were easy to convince society to be kind to others ALL the time…
Wonderful post Amanda. You’re amazing as always. Let others into your heart. Doing one act of kindness doesn’t go unmeasured.
By the way, I have a writing blog strictly for the process of writing my first two novels.
Please check it out, or anyone else for that matter: http://thewrittenword-jlr.blogspot.com/
Please be nice to someone everyday.
