Questions About Ascend

The Trylle Trilogy continues to be compared to Twilight, which completely baffles me. Other than the fact it’s paranormal and has romance, I personally don’t see similarities.

Here a list of things that the Trylle Trilogy is more like than Twilight:
Labyrinth
-Pretty in Pink
-The Princess Diaries
-Star Wars

This isn’t really a fun fact about Ascend, though, and I said I would start today.

Here’s what I’m thinking would be fun. And factual. If you guys have questions about Ascend or the characters, post them in the comments, and I’ll answer them on Friday. I’m not going to answer spoilers, such as “How does the trilogy end?” or “Do Wendy and Finn end up together?”

But if you have questions about the book, the trilogy, or any characters, ask away. As long as it’s not a spoiler, I’ll answer it on Friday’s blog.

And just a reminder, Ascend will be out by January 15th. So… the end.

As a Middle School Reading teacher, I am always looking for a series for my students to read. Our school library didn’t have the Trylle series and since it was only $0.99 I decided to give it a try….WOW! Am I glad I did! YOUR BOOKS ARE AMAZING! I love how you hooked me so early in the story and kept my attention throughout the Trilogy. 🙂 Needless to say, I have since purchased all of your books that are available on kindle. (BTW ~ our school library now owns your books as well.) Thanks for writing – and I hope you publish many more in the near future. 🙂

    Amanda,

First…you are awesome!! I a love the Trylle Series. I got a Nook for Christmas and Switched and Torn were the first two I downloaded and read. I am stoked about Ascend being released on the 15th. I am not sure in anyone asked this or not but will it be released as an ebook? I cannot find where we could pre-order and it is not showing up anywhere I look.

Also..Trylle is nothing like Twilight. How dumb people can be. Keep writing and I look forward to Ascend!!

I read the first two books of the Trylle Trillogy in 2 days. I really like it, I was a little confused in the beginning of the second book because Wendy was sort of introducing characters from the first book and the first 30 odd pages were the end of last book, I don’t mind the grammar issues so much. I think your very creative and I don’t see the connection to Twilight.

  • I dont have Ian??? LOL!! hmm let me look…I got mine from Smashwords…
I have . “It’s not like I can really hurt her, Loki,” Kyra said, her voice bordering on whining.

Stacy I analyse too, its just part and parcel of me reading a book. Can’t help it:D

Oh glad Sara answered, Thanks Amanda. I was wondering about healing powers. Forgot she was infertile.

Amanda if you are about could you please answer I am dying to read Letters to elise as I am a Peter girl…its not on smashwords. Will it be?
