Jason Letts has a new book that just came out. It’s a young adult paranormal romance called Inevitable that I did some editing on it. I don’t know if that’s technically enough for me to be considered a co-author, but there you have it. Here’s the description…

Every choice is played out in a world unto itself, and so the only Nathan who needs to be saved is the only one who can’t be.

A supernatural spirit holds all of these worlds together, bending fate from her place outside of time. When eighteen-year-old Nathan Wheeler sacrifices himself to provide for his orphaned sister, this entrancing spirit goes back to when the death of his mother forced him to quit college and attempts to make his life better before his inevitable death.

But for all she knows about the future, assuming human form is not as easy as she thought it would be, and getting close to Nathan comes with consequences she could never expect.

Inevitable is available at both Amazon and Barnes & Noble

Amanda, I do love your writing but for Pete(r)’s sake…what are you doing editing someone else’s work when you should really be spending that time editing your own. I’ve loved everything I’ve read from you but as an aspiring writer myself, your grammar, consistency and other mistakes in your ebooks were at times severely annoying and detracting from the story!

Just finished reading the first two books! Couldn’t stop reading!!! Where is number three?

Loved the first two books in trilogy: when is the third due to be out?

    Hey Anonymous & Anonymous,

I just checked this out myself because I was curious. On Amazon, Jason is listed as the sole Author, and Amanda the editor. I guess I’d need to hear the answer about the cover before making any judgment, but I sure hope he asked. As for bragging, the post looked a whole lot like a thank you for the support, and less like bragging. Still, that’s just my interpretation.

He was bragging about how it sold a thousand copies in the first two weeks over on the Kindleboards. I sure hope you’re getting a cut of the sales because his other stuff didn’t sell nearly that well. Looks likes he’s cashing in on your name.

“I don’t know if that’s technically enough for me to be considered a co-author, but there you have it.”

Is this a case of someone trying to use your name and success for their own gain then? I mean, did he ask you if he could put your name on the cover beforehand, and if you said yes, then why the above statement if you agreed to be labelled as a co-author?

This makes me think of that Star Trek episode where there were all those versions of Warf from different dimensions.

At the time I said: Oh, he’s in a time warf.

I hope Inevitable enters a time warf and everybody who possibly would have loved it in every iteration of every universe gets the chance to read it.

Can’t wait to check this out! Also, upon your mentioning I read Jenny Pox- fabulous! Finally, a quick question about the Trylle Trilogy: How is it that the Chancellor is overweight if all of the trolls are only into healthy, natural foods? Love your work and look forward to more great reads from you!
